Church Christmas Card

As has become our custom, the children and young people will be producing a large Christmas Card for church members to send their greetings to one other, enabling us to donate the money we have saved from sending individual cards, to a charity.

The card will be available on the first Sunday of Advent and each subsequent Sunday. Donations collected will benefit the Tearfund Central African Republic Appeal, please follow the below link if you'd like further information on this appeal: - https://www.tearfund.org/en/about_us/what_we_do_and_where/countries/east_and_central_africa/car/

The card will be available on the first Sunday of Advent and each subsequent Sunday.

GCF Christmas Service

On Sunday 24th December, Christmas Eve, we are having a Christmas Service with carols and Christmas readings, those who play an instrument are invited to play, even if you play the triangle!

There will be a rehearsal at John and Judith Fletts home, The Hideaway, on Thursday 21st December - 19.00 for those who’d like to attend and practice.

New Church Building

Following a lot of work to establish the practicalities of the proposed GCF building project, the Elders and Trustees will meet on Saturday 9th December to review the information collected, and to explore its implications.

Following the meeting, a decision will be reached either to proceed in further definition to a future go/no go point, or to make a no go decision now and cease the project at this point. The outcome of this will be presented to the fellowship as part of the ongoing consultation process.

Please pray for the Elders and Trustees as they consider the issues involved, and make a decision with potentially far-reaching implications for the future shape and direction of the church.
