GCF Facebook

Thank you to all who have already filled and returned the Facebook permission form, however, there are still a few outstanding. The form is intended for all, and not only those who have a Facebook account.

Until the permission forms have been returned we are unable to move forward with the Facebook page, therefore, we would be very grateful if those who haven’t filled and returned the form could take a look and either fill in and return as a hardcopy or email your requests to this address, This email address is being protected from spambots. Though only in its very early stages you can find the page by searching Guisborough Christian Fellowship and ‘like’ to ‘follow’ the page.

We have an admin’ page also, Gcf Central, please search and add as a friend, this will allow us to ‘tag’ you, of course, only if you are in agreement.

Prayer request - Sally Phillippe

Please continue to pray for Helen as she progresses with her diagnoses journey.  Helen was given an EEG which confirmed unusual brain activity.  On Thursday Helen suffered two black outs/seizures leading to her being unable to stand at all on Friday, she is in great danger every time the black outs/seizures occur.  Please pray the medical team find answers soon and that they’re able to help Helen.

Possible trip to Uganda to visit Potter's Village

Following the successful trip to Potter's Village in Uganda last February, I am contemplating organising another trip early in the new year. It would be good to strengthen our church's link with the Village, particularly as Rosie (Nicky's sister) will have left by then. It's a very rewarding holiday - pleasant summer weather in wintertime, adorable little children, and the satisfaction of making a difference by serving the Village. Nothing is fixed yet, but I want to gauge what interest there is. Paul & Della, Bill and Gaynor went last time, so if you're interested, do talk to them, or me, about it. I won't be at church till 15 October as we are away, but feel free to email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
